To the Church — hear this:
We’ve mastered the art of doing our own thing and slapping God’s name on it.
We call it ministry.
We call it purpose.
We even dare to call it faith —
But the LORD never spoke it.
And if He didn’t say it…
If He didn’t command it…
Then it’s sin.
Let that hit your soul:
Anything you do — even in His name — if He didn’t tell you to do it, it’s sin.
This isn’t obedience.
It’s rebellion dressed in religious language.
And God is not impressed with performance.
He’s not swayed by your church title, your worship playlist, or your emotional altar cries.
He’s looking for surrender.
Today’s Church wants Jesus as Savior — but refuses Him as LORD.
Why?
Because when you make Him LORD — you die.
And most don’t want to die.
They want fire insurance from hell, but they don’t want deliverance from self.
They want comfort, not the Cross.
They want blessings, not brokenness.
They want to live their flesh-driven lives — and still call it Christianity.
But you cannot serve the LORD in the flesh.
You cannot walk in obedience while holding onto your will.
You cannot truly live until you have truly died.
So if you really want to serve the LORD — then it’s time to come out of the flesh.
It’s time to crucify the old man.
It’s time to stop pretending.
Stop playing games with God.
And die — so you can finally live.
Because only when the flesh is dead can the Spirit rise.
And if that offends you — good.
Let it offend your flesh.
Let it break your pride.
Let it crush your idols.
Let it drag you to the altar where your will is burned to ashes — and only His remains.
It is time to wake up — not with your lips, but with your life.
If you are not dead… then you are not alive.
To be alive in Christ means you have died — completely.
And dead means dead — no more doing what you want, but what He wants.
Do you still make your own decisions?
Or do you seek the LORD before every step?
Because deep down — you know.
You know whether you’ve truly died or not.
And hear me — God is not fooled by your mockery.
You cannot fake surrender.
You cannot fake obedience.
And you cannot fake the fear of the LORD.
It is time to die — so that He can raise you up in Himself.
It is time to throw down your will, your plan, your flesh, your pride.
It is time to rise.
It is time to be AWAKENED IN CHRIST.
